The 2016 riding season is coming to an end for motorcyclists not lucky enough to live in a region that stays warm during winter. For that kind of bikers, Italian developer and publisher Milestone just released a new game - Ride 2.
Stepping in the success of the first title, Ride 2 is back now to add better graphics, sounds, new game modes as well as new bikes and almost endless custom options.
“Welcome to the temple of motorcycles, the only digital garage that will allow you to discover, transform and test the world’s fastest, most iconic and original vehicles,” the official web page touts. “The top of the range of the most famous brands will await you to compete against each other in a unique videogame and show the world their full potential!”
Fair enough, Ride 2 offers over 200 motorcycles, now also including two-stroke, supermoto, and even cafe racers, along with 30 different tracks with varied topographic features. There are also over 1,200 customizable parts and over 600 liveries to chose from and build your dream bike.
“We are proud of the Ride 2 launch, it’s an extremely important IP in the Milestone lineup,” Luisa Bixio, Milestone VP, said. “We will offer several free DLC packs in addition to the paid DLC to satisfy some of the requests that came from the community. We are certain that the game both meets the hardcore players' needs and is beginner friendly.”
Another novelty for Ride 2 is the new Achievements system which is enough to keep a hardcore player pinned in the seat for the three-month no-rinding period. A multiplayer element is present too featuring new Social features and new Friends section for a complete fun game experience.
Ride 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC/STEAM. The digital version is priced at €49.99 ($56).
