It turns out the founder of Maybach Music Group is not just writing about marijuana use in his songs, but he is, in fact, a consumer himself. But that’s not the irony here, considering the Bentley he was driving in when cops pulled him over the other day was illegally wearing some tinted windows.
The times are quite hot for rap moguls these days, apparently. Not that we care, but that’s the second time we write about a car offense in which a music producer is involved in less than a month. To be honest, we thought of it a couple of times before deciding to go with Rick Ross’ little police encounter. It’s just too funny not to.

Let’s put it this way, if we were to have an “epic fail” box in the office where we’d put random traffic offenses every day, William Leonard Roberts II on his real name would probably make it in. So here’s how things went on, according to Atlanta News.

Ross was arrested after a deputy stopped his Bentley on Georgia State Route 279 due to alleged window tint violation. According to Fayette County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Allen Stevens, the officer smelled marijuana before finding five joints inside the car. The 39-year-old producer was booked into the Fayette County jail Wednesday afternoon.

Now, if you were to judge Ross’s smoking habits by the way he likes to brag on Instagram, then it’s safe to assume that’s just a small portion of what the gentleman in question is used to consume on a daily basis.

Dear Ross, next time just drive with the windows rolled down, this way nobody will pull you over in the first place.
