As part of his brand ambassador role for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and Hyundai Motor, Brazillian football sensation Ricardo Kaka just received the keys to a brand new Santa Fe SUV.
The 2007 winner of the "FIFA World Player of the Year" and "Ballon d'Or" award will drive the vehicle leading up to this year's football tournament, scheduled to take place in Brazil from June 12th through July 13th.

Kaka, a key figure in the South Korean automaker's current marketing efforts, took delivery of his new ride at an exclusive handover ceremony in Milan, Italy.

“It’s a real pleasure to be a part of Hyundai Motor’s campaign around the FIFA World Cup. I’m happy to be sharing the passion and excitement of football with so many people, and it’s great to drive the Hyundai Santa Fe,” declared the A.C. Milan midfielder.

The car was presented to the football player by James Oh, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company Italy. “Our commitment to football unites fans around the world, bringing them closer to the game. As a brand ambassador for Hyundai Motor, Kaka helps to excite the emotions of fans and connect us with a global audience,” said Mr. Oh.

But Kaka isn't the only football player selected to fill the brand ambassador role for Hyundai's partnership within the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Playing a central role in building relationships between the car maker's products and football fans from all over the world, the South Korean company also partnered up with Spaniard Iker Casillas (Real Madrid C.F.) and Brazilian Oscar Emboaba (Chelsea F.C.).

However, Ricardo Kaka might want to change his car in the summer of 2015, when Hyundai will unveil the mid-cycle facelift of the Santa Fe SUV. Check the first set of spyshots of the future model by following this link.
