Nissan has prepared a performance feast for the British automotive enthusiasts that will attend the PistonHeads Performance Car show, which will be held within the Autosport International event in Birmingham this month.
The company’s first horsepower (and handling, we have to add) soldier is the 2011 GT-R, which now comes with 530 hp and a maximum torque of 612 Nm, being able to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in three seconds flat. The event will mark the UK debut of the machine.
This is followed by the 370Z Coupe and Roadster (this is one sweet ride, we can tell you that), which celebrate 40 years of Nissan Z presence in the UK. Both are are powered by a 328hp 3.7 liter V6 unit.
Getting to the more extreme part, we’ll tell you that visitors will also be greeted by Performance Tuners Sumo Power’s FIA GT GT1 championship winning GT-R, a vehicle that recently picked up the RAC tourist trophy.
“The second GT-R race car will be strutting its stuff in the ‘Fifth Gear Live Action Arena’ where spectators will be able to see, hear and smell the car in action. Drivers of both cars will be available for autographs at various times over the four days of the show,” stated the press release.
We’ve said the be(a)st for last: John Bradshaw will showcase its Z drag car, a machine that uses the same V6 engine block as the standard 370Z, but delivers 2,000 hp. The vehicle will be dressed in red and silver, its 2011 colors.
