It seems the Pokemon Go crazy is here to stay and the world of internet pranks simply couldn't miss the opportunity to take advantage of this. In fact, it seems that driving around on Californian streets and asking people to choose their Pokemon Go team seems perfectly normal.
This is what the JoeySalads Youtube brand delivers in its latest video, which delivers what we'd call a reverse Pokemon Go prank. In other words, the adventure we're talking about sees Pikachu hunting.... unsuspecting people.

And given how many drivers have turned to mixing their rides with playing the Niantic-developed game, Pikachu also uses a car. In fact, you'll see it getting out of the trunk of an S550 Mustang. Sure, this isn't a GT, but you don't need a V8 to catch people, a baseball bat, just like the one used in the clip, is enough - aparently, this is the reverse equivalent of a Pokeball.

Ash Ketchum is obviously present, as he's the one who gets the conversation rolling and summons Pikachu whenever he feels bypassers suddenly turn into his enemies.

While this prank might seem overcooked (and it probably is), one thing's for sure - the stunt is considerably less of a threat to common sense than all those drivers playing Pokemon Go behind the wheel.

Such situations have led to crashes, one of which saw a driver plowing straight into a parked police car while using the app. This becomes even more ironical when you think about the fact that "Satoshi" (Ash Ketchum's Japanese nickname) is a name that can be interpreted as "wisdom".

Oh well, at least nobody was hurt in the making of this prank, with the action in the video below even appearing to give the giggles to some people who more or less willingly played the "hunted" role.
