The 125cc World Champion Marc Marquez, who is now entering his fourth year of motorcycle racing in the World Championship, recently unveiled the Repsol Moto2 machine in Barcelona, Spain. The Repsol team, responsible to guide Marquez in its Moto2 debut season, includes ex-rider Emilio Alzamora and technical manager Santi Hernandez.

"At only just 18, Marc Marquez has become a reference in the high-level competition world. Marc perfectly represents many of the values of a company such as Repsol: effort, team work, optimism, talent, thoroughness... We have supported him for some years now and we are excited about this new stage of his career at the Moto2 category," said Begona Elices, Executive Director for Communication and Chairman's office of Repsol.

Marquez is now getting ready for the beginning of the World Championship, that will set off next March 20 at Losail Circuit (Qatar).

"I am very happy that we can see the bike with the new colours, I was looking forward to riding it with the final livery. When you ride such a beautiful bike, it is even more exciting. First of all, I want to thank Repsol and Catalunya Caixa for their support,”
Marquez said.

"The bike is very nice-looking, it looks like Dani's MotoGP, with Repsol colours and also with the Catalunya Caixa colours. I am very excited about this project and I am looking forward to start. For the moment everything looks fine and now I have to be fast on the track," he added.

Repsol will also continue its presence in the MotoGP with a fantastic trio that comprises Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Casey Stoner.

As for the 125cc series, Repsol will this year support two very young talents: Alex Rins and Alex Marquez, who is in fact Marc’s younger brother.
