In case you were thinking of going to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March, know that you might be in for a surprise as the new Skoda Octavia four-door will be revealed. The concept vehicle finally gives the company the possibility to rival sister company VW’s Passat-based CC.
The design team opted for a sharper look, reinterpreting the Octavia’s traditional features. Now, the car incorporates a bolder side crease that smoothly runs the length of its shoulderline and a slicker appearance plus a whole lot of attitude.

Besides this, it features triangular LED headlights that are echoed in the foglights, a lower roofline flowing gently into the rear end and a steeply raked windscreen.

Concerning its platform, the new four-door coupe has the same MQB as the original Octavia, therefore it incorporates the same 2,686mm wheelbase.

All in all, one can notice that along the years, Skoda changed direction a bit and opted to put even more emphasis on the design of its vehicles.
