Italian automaker Ferrari has reportedly opened the order books for the yet unrevealed successor of the 430 Scuderia, based, of course, on the 458 Italia model.
According to TeamSpeed, who are quoting "Ferrari clients from Italy and Germany", Maranello is already accepting deposits for the hardcore version of the 458 Italia, dubbed Monte Carlo.
The more powerful Ferrari 458 Italia Monte Carlo will be showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, but a private preview for potential customers is to be arranged in the coming months. Deliveries are expected to commence in early 2014.
For the time being, we know next to nothing about the Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo, except that it will be conceived as a successor for the 430 Scuderia and 360 Challenge Stradale. Needless to say, the new Prancing Horse will have to be faster and agile than the regular 458 Italia.
