We’ve seen our fair share of BMW M2 renderings up until now waiting for master automotive manipulator, Theophilus Chin to show us how the actual car will look like. Well, that time has come.
So far, Theophilus has been one of the most precise artists in previewing the way new cars from BMW will look like and we think he’s right this time too, creating a rendering that is spot on.

As you can notice in the adjacent images, the M2 he put together has the exact same front bumper as the new M3 and M4 and a similar rear end that accommodates no less than 4 tailpipes that will take care of the exhaust gases coming from the 3-liter turbocharged engine up front.

Speaking of the engine, the most recent info seems to point out to a detuned version of the S55 unit used on the F80/F82 models, making under 400 HP and around 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, keeping true to the inline 6-cylinder architecture.

However, in a car like the M2, power isn’t essential, if that’s what you were thinking. The M2 is supposed to be a fun car more than anything. It’s supposed to be light and sure on its feet, capable of dealing with tight corners and sticking the back of your head to the headrest behind it for as long as you kick down the throttle pedal. Hopefully, that’s exactly what it will do. Until then, we get to dream about it with such renderings.
