Rendering: BMW M4 CSL Vision Concept

The recent spyshots with the BMW M4 GTS got every one hyped up, waiting for the production car or at least a concept to be unveiled. The Paris Motor Show is coming up soon but there’s little hope that we’ll get to see something like that in the capital city of France. However, artists quickly jumped on board started drawing possible alternatives.

Possibly the first one to the game was rc82 workshop that put together a quick shot at how a BMW M4 CSL Vision Concept might look like. This would be a lighter M4 that the standard one that also borrows quite a lot of the styling cues found on the i8.

Up front, the renderer used the M4 Concept fascia, together with a production kidney grille with the new double-bar design, a massive hood bulge and a reinterpreted lower part of the bumper that features a splitter.

On the sides, the doors and side sills seem brand new while the wheels come straight off the M6 Gran Coupe. As for the rear fascia, everything seems taken off the i8, which is definitely a plus.

While this might look a but too flashy, it would make sense from the enthusiast point of view. Deleting the rear seats, making the body from aluminum and CFRP and sticking with the same 3-liter biturbo engine from the M4, this car would be a rocket on wheels. Of course, with a weight of around 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs) all-wheel drive would be recommended to keep the rear end in check.
