Not too long ago, rumors were talking about a possible BMW X2, a car that would be yet another variation of the Sport Activity Coupe models we’ve already gotten used to, the X6 and the X4.
However, no official info ever came, through no channel whatsoever, so the journalistic world had to drop the subject. But with the all-new X6, fresh ideas are starting to pop up.
The guys from X-Tomi design created a 3-door version of the new SAC from Munich, basically looking like the X2 should, if it was ever to come to life. Of course, proportions would be different, as the new X model should be smaller than the X3 and just a tad bigger than the F48 X1 but the design might stick.
So, if you thought the X6 isn’t practical enough, just imagine how bad such a car would be. It’s not enough that it has only 2 doors to get in, it’s also an SUV-like car, making getting in and out especially hard to do.
Considering the current trend at BMW that has even numerals allocated for the coupes and odds for sedans, the 3-door X6 wouldn’t be 100% excluded from possible plans for the future. Actually, no car can be 100 percent excluded at this point, since the Bavarians decided to build even a front-wheel-drive car. Who knows what the future holds...
