Rendering: 2015 MINI Clubman

As spyshots of the new 6-door hatchback from MINI was already spotted testing around BMW’s facilities in Germany already, it was only natural that some rendering artist got to work on how the new model might turn out to look like.

One of the first to do such a rendering was Theophilus Chin. His take on the new Clubman (or Freeman, whatever the bosses will decide to go with) is true to the spyshots we saw, to the last detail.

The greenhouse, the design of the taillights and even the door sills look close to what we’re expecting. However, I’d really hate the rear end if the car comes out like this. There are too many square angles over there and those taillights look absolutely terrible. Hopefully, the end result will be a lot different.

The engine line-up will be comprised only of B-engine family units, ranging from 1.5-liter B38s to 2-liter B48 units.
