Renault ZOE EV Convertible Rendered

Recently presented with the “Technology Award” at the 2013 Fleet World Honours, the all-electric Renault ZOE seems to be on its way to great success. And if this really happens, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the French developing more versions of their supermini.

Although it’s obviously far-fetched, Renault decided to surprise its fans by posting a rendering of a ZOE convertible on its Facebook page. Made by a Spanish fan, the image comes with the following image: “Renault Zoe cabriolet: ideal for driving in the fresh spring air! Would you like this concept made by a fan to be real?”

Well, for the sake of diversity, we would! But we’re pretty sure that a topless ZOE is far away from becoming a real car anytime soon. Renault could very well be testing public reaction to such a version of the car, but our say is that would be an awkward and useless strategy.

Nevertheless, have a good look at the rendering above and don’t be shy about sharing your opinions with us.
