The Renault Twizy has received a very warm welcome, in Europe. This is also reflected in sales figures, but also in the many very positive reviews scattered across the web. However, with its quirky styling which we think is by no means a bad look, people are going to want to set their Twizy apart and customize it - we don’t blame those people one bit, in fact, we’re all for it!
Well, German Renault tuner, Elia, are on the job of offering a complete tuning pack for the little EV. So far, they’ve only released two pictures previewing the pack, but judging from the looks of things, it’s going to be a success. The first thing that grabs attention are the new larger rims wrapped in low profile tires, lowered suspension and red accents both inside and out. These limited mods alone would already easily distinguish the Elia-Twizy from others, so we’re curious if the German tuner has plans to add anything else on a final version of the pack.
We are really looking forward to hearing more about this tuning project, and we will keep you up to date. Now that the Twizy has gotten the ball rolling, we may se tuned versions of the Fluence and Zoe once those cars become common enough - interesting times await us!
