Renault Twingo Customization Options Set for Paris

Because customization is one of the most important attributes for Renault Twingo, the French manufacturer aims to fully benefit from this aspect, so today it has announced a new series of options to be presented at the Paris PTS (Personalization, Technology and Mechanical Sports) on February 19. The new customization offers will become available next spring, Renault said in statement for the press.

"A show is a great place to meet the general public, and as such is an opportunity to present our creative ideas and to gauge reactions to new offers to help us select our offers of the future,” Renault said in a statement for the press.

There are several options available, including freestyle graphics, aluminum wheel rims, colored hubcaps, rear view mirror shrouds, central pillar trim, fog lamp mouldings and decorative trim. In addition, designers working for Renault have created three different themes, city of light, pop and sport, which will be sold separately from the base Twingo range.

In order to demonstrate Twingo's customizability, Renault will also showcase two modified Renault Sport cars, codenamed Anger and Devil, equipped with 17-inch two-tone cold metal/sating red wheel rims, red brake calipers, glossy black air intake grids, red indicator “shank” and red interior surface of the exhaust tube.

“Renault Twingo is a feisty, practical and connected car, whose appeal has already won over almost 140,000 customers in Europe and is the leading car in its category in France. Customization is a major trend; from mobile phone covers to textile products, the consumer needs to make the product “unique” so that it reflects his values, tastes and personality. Many customers have already made Renault Twingo “unique” thanks to the customization offers proposed right from the launch,” the company praised the customization features of the car.
