We've all had a quick sandwich or a cup of coffee from a food car at least once in our busy corporate lives. However, they're often based on RVs or minivans, which makes them ugly and difficult to maneuver around the city.
But Renault could have the answer with this interesting barbecue grille on wheels called the Twing'Hog, a mane which somehow got us craving KFC. Company designers were given free reign to make a food car for L'Optimum's magazine, which is a sort of FHM in French.
They chopped the brand new Twingo city car, ditched the rear seats and installed a cool grille in their place, equipped with spatula and giant barbecue fork.
The funky-looking doors and he tiny front windshield appear to have been borrowed from smart's old crossblade, which was built about a decade ago. However, the body kit and flared wheel arches were pulled straight from the Twin'Z and Twin'Run concepts.
Renault won't say if or when the Twing'Hot will make its concept car debut. However, with a large heat source sitting right above its engine and fuel tank, the barbecue loving French city car is unlikely to make mass production. Still, you have to applaud Renault for taking things this far.
