Renault has released the Twingo Walkman Limited Edition, a model developed in collaboration with Sony and dedicated to those who put music in the center of their life.

The car features a Sony Bluetooth radio-CD MP3 that is compatible with MP3, WMA and AAC files. This comes with USB and jack sockets and allows wireless playback stored on cell phones. In addition to this, the audiophile Twingo offers a Sony MP3 walkman, which can play both video and audio files and comes with a two-inch color screen.

The car’s exterior has received special features such as a sport front bumper, black headlamp masks and a “Walkman Limited Edition” badge, mounted on the tailgate. Its body can come dressed in one of the five available colors, which include the gloss finish Glacier White and the optional metallic Dyna Red, Pearlescent Black, Platine Grey and Cajou (this is a new color).

Besides offering the aforementioned entertainment systems, the vehicle comes with a manual climate control system, electric windows, electric exterior mirrors and foglamps. The Twingo Walkman Limited Edition can be powered by a 75 hp 1.2 liter petrol engine or by a 1.5 liter diesel engine that offers 65 hp. Both powerplants qualify for the Renault eco2 signature and benefit from the EUR 500 bonus available through the French eco scheme.

Only 2,500 units of the car will be built, with pricing starting at 10,850 euro. Order books have been opened in France on April 7 and the sale is scheduled to debut at the end of the month in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Portugal.
