Renault Opens Pro+ Center in Le Mans

The last day of May was the one chosen by French automaker Renault to open the 200th Pro+ Centre, a sales and after-sales service for the brand’s business customers, in Le Mans, marking half way through what the car maker plans to be a 400 units strong network of service centers.

Built as a one-stop-shop, the Renault Pro+ has been created “to provide business customers with efficient, holistic solutions in the fields of new and used vehicle sales, financing and after sales care.”

Each and all of the centers run on the same principles and are staffed by professional sales and after-sales specialists. The centers can handle all types of Renault vehicles, from cars and vans to vehicle conversions, including temperature-controlled vehicles, tippers and big volume vans. This business of the Renault group will be in charge with vans with cubic capacities ranging from 2 to 22 cubic meters.

“The profitability of customers ensured thanks to services tailored to meet the needs of different types of business activity. Should a vehicle have to be taken off the road, Renault Pro+ Centres offer alternative mobility solutions, including the availability of a standard replacement vehicle of the same class,” says the French automaker.

Separately, the French announced today that they have handed the 200th converter approval, meaning that 200 coachbuilders from 18 countries have the car maker's green light to modify its platforms to suit the demands of the commercial vehicle customers. Most of them are the result of a new approval procedure introduced last year 2010, that allows new converters to be proposed by the different markets.
