Renault Offers New Fixed Price Service Plan in the UK

In these times of economic uncertainty, automakers try to provide their customers with financial peace of mind and some longer term money saving. Renault customers in the new year will benefit from a new three-year/30,000-mile fixed price Renault Service Plan with pricing between GBP 159 and GBP 349.

The service becomes available from January 4, 2011 for all routine servicing and covers the brand's entire car range at the time of the purchase, until December 31 2011. The plan covers all Renault cars for three years up to 30,000 miles, whichever is reached sooner and includes parts, labour and VAT on servicing. The fixed price servicing is available on every new model, with prices starting at GBP 159 for the Twingo, Modus and Kangoo, to GBP 199 for Clio and Wind Roadster, GBP 219 for the Megane, GBP 249 for Scenic and Laguna and GBP 349 for the Espace. Renault says the policy can be transferred to different owners for free, should the car be sold before the service expires, adding to the vehicle's resale value.

The company expects considerable interest in the service, thanks to the reasonable prices and the option to include the cost of servicing in the finance payment. What better way to ensure long-term financial stability than knowing that all your scheduled servicing needs are covered from the start?

The fixed price service plan requires owners to carry out servicing in accordance with Renault's recommended schedule and can be done at any Renault dealer. Wear and tear and routine maintenance are not included in the plan, but Renault offers a free vehicle inspection with each visit, informing the customer of any maintenance work that may be required.

We recognise customers are always concerned about the cost of ownership. With our new fixed service price plan, we’re determined to offer peace of mind and a sanctuary from ever-increasing costs in these tough economic times, while reinforcing the great value and quality service of servicing at a franchised dealer,” explained Mark Crockett, Director of Service and Quality, Renault UK.
