In essence, both the Renault Modus and the Grand Modus Exception boast all the features included in the Dynamique version -count here automatic climate control, additional cornering lights, foglamps, extra-tinted rear glass plus front and rear electric windows- but also adds some exclusive functions such as 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, leather upholstery, front and rear carpet mats plus cruise control with speed limiter.
A number of options are also available, including ESC (ESP + ASR traction control + MSR engine torque overrun regulation + understeer control), radio-CD with MP3 playback and panoramic electric sunroof.
Both the Modus Exception and the Grand Modus Exception come in several body colors as it follows: metallic finishes (Cendré Beige, Etoile Blue, Extrême Blue, Iceberg Blue, Cassiopée Grey, Platine Grey, Citrine Yellow, Pearlescent Black, Nocturne Black, Dyna Red) and non-metallic finishes (Glacier White, Roy Blue, Vif Red).
The two limited-edition models will go on sale in France in March 2009, but orders are already available through Renault's authorized dealership network. In addition, the models will be also rolled out in a number of countries across Europe, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Slovenia. In Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Holland.
Prices for the special series are ranging between 16,350 euros for the TCe 100 Modus and 20,050 euros for the dCi 105 six-speed manual Grand Modus.
