The 21 models in the range have now become available in the UK market and are available in four trim levels, namely Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilege.
The lowest priced is the Expression 1.6 100, priced at £15,485, and it features 4×15W RDS radio CD, air conditioning, front and rear curtain airbags, ESP, folding front passenger seat, front and rear electric windows, keyless car with Renault card and longitudinal chrome roof bars.
The next is Dynamique, that adds 16” alloys wheels, automatic lights and wipers, Bluetooth and MP3 connection, Hands free Renault card and leather steering wheel. As you might have guessed, the TomTom Edition adds the fully-integrated Carminat TomTom, to Dynamique trim, but for an additional £360, instead of the usual £450 option price.
The launched range is completed by Privilege, which comes with additional dual zone climate control, electric folding mirrors, electrochrome rear view mirror and rear armrest with storage. Other options are also available for individual customization, such as 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic parking brake, electric panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery.
Just like the New Clio and Scenic ranges, the load-carrying version of the New Megane range also benefits from the new Carminat TomTom satellite navigation system, at £450. A new trim level, Extreme, will be launched this fall, priced between £15,485 and £22,785 on-the-road.
