Now that the enthusiasm triggered by the new Renault Twingo among media and the public cooled off, the French carmaker must find ways to keep people interested in their car.
First, they came up with the 2015 Twingo Limited, which offered customers 15-inch Vivastella two-tone black wheel trims, some decals for the exterior and electric windows plus climate control for the comfort of those inside.

This time, it's all about a limited edition, namely the Twingo Cosmic. It's based on the Twingo Intens, and all it does is take one step further towards stylishness.

In that respect, the Twingo Cosmic received graphics for the sides of its body, mirror caps painted in Étoilé Black plus a set of 16-inch Ultraviolet diamond-effect alloy rims.

Moreover, the Twingo Cosmic can be had painted in one of the two new colors offered by Renault, namely Lunaire Grey and Ultraviolet. Well, we know what hue we would go for, and that's the latter of course.

That's not all because the interior didn't escape the wave of changes. In fact, the small but cute Twingo received seats covered in a mix of leather and fabric, assorted with an anodized Ultraviolet trim. Also, your hands will rest comfortable on the steering wheel, as it was covered in leather exclusively for this special edition.

Those inside will have an automatic climate control function at their disposal, along with new carpet mats and front door sill guards.

Engine-wise, those looking to own the Twingo Cosmic special edition can equip their car with every engine available for the regular Twingo. Among the units available, we mention the 1.0-liter SCe 70 mill good for 70 horsepower paired to a manual gearbox and the 0.9-liter Energy TCe 90 with 90 HP and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) on tap.

The bad news is only French customers can get it for now, as long as they're willing to pay the Twingo Cosmic's starting price tag of €14,200.
