Renault Kangoo Express Pricing Released

Renault has announced the pricing for the Kangoo Express Z.E. and has debuted the pre-ordering process for the vehicle, using a dedicated website.

The vehicle uses a 60 hp electric motor that can rev up to 10,550 rpm and offer a maximum torque of 226 Nm. This is fed with electricity by a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery and uses a direct transmission with a reduction gear.

The electric light commercial vehicle offers a range of 100 miles (160 km) and has an electronically limited top speed of 80.7 mph (130 km/h).

It measures 4.2 meters in length and tips the scales at 1,410 kg(3,109 lbs). The vehicle can accommodate two passengers, offering a load volume of between 3 and 3.5 square meters (between 32.3 and 37.7 square feet)  and a payload of 650 kg (1,433 lbs).

The Kangoo Express Z.E. has a price of between EUR15,000 and EUR 20,000, depending on the market and government incentives in the respective country.

The list of standard equipment includes 15 inch wheels with four disc brakes, rear asymmetric panel doors, ABS with emergency brake assistance, remote control central door locking, variable-assist electric power steering, driver airbag, Onboard trip computer, electrically operated door mirrors with temperature indicators, six floor anchorage rings, illuminated cargo area, height-adjustable steering wheel and seatbelts and a seatbelt warning system.

The vehicle also comes with a list of Z.E. specific features that includes a special Z.E. on board trip computer, a custom Z.E. dashboard, pre-heating and pre-cooling of the cabin while the battery is charging and standard 10/16A plug and cable.
