From what we’ve heard, Renault has had a concept for a completely new Espace for a while now but the European economy has been so bad that there really hasn’t been any need for one. This is latest facelift for the four-generation model that was originally launched back in 2002.
The first photos of this facelift were shown last month, but now we have details of the interior and all the other revisions for the model.
Renault say that the standard features across the range now include a Carminat TomTom Live navigation system and their usual hands-free card. The Espace Initiale Paris luxury version of the MPV has received visible stitching for the dash, as well as a mix of leather and Alcantara for the seats.
The French carmaker also says that it’s managed to make the 130PS, 150PS and 175PS versions of the 2.0-liter dCi diesel have been made 0.8 l/100km, with emissions dropping 20 grams per km of CO2.
