Renault Espace is now celebrating its 25th anniversary and, in order to honor this successful model, the French manufacturer rolled out a special version of the car that comes equipped with lots of features compared with the other flavors. The 25th anniversary limited edition of the car will be launched from June in only six countries, as it follows: France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Holland and Poland.

Before rushing into details, you should know that, according to Renault, buying this special edition brings you a consumer saving of up to 5,520 euros, despite that the cheapest model will be priced at 35,350 euros.

The 25th anniversary limited edition Renault Espace is based on the existing Carminat Evolution version but boasts improvements in many of the key areas of the car, including exterior styling, gadgets, safety and comfort. For example, it features a new Cendré Beige metallic finish, aluminum alloy wheels and Look Pack (body colour cowl vent grille and wing trims, chrome front bumper air-intake surround, gloss black exterior mirrors and B-pillar), plus special commemorative 25th anniversary badging on the B-pillar.

In terms of safety, the car comes equipped with automatic headlamp activation, a rain sensor, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchorage for all rear seats and six airbags (driver and front passenger auto-adaptive front airbags, plus front lateral thorax-protection airbags and head-protection lateral airbags for first and second row occupants).

Other features include Renault Hands-free Card, climate control controls mounted on the rear doors and the Carminat CD Bluetooth Auditorium MP3 navigation system with a user- friendly interactive interface, plus traffic information and hands-free telephony functions including access to address book.

Overall, the new Espace is offered with a choice of three diesel engines, dCi 130 with six-speed manual gearbox, and dCi 150 DPF with six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

As said, the car will go on sale in June, but the company is already receiving orders as of April 27.
