Renault has just released a new version of the fabulous Clio Renaultsport 197 called the Lux for the UK market. This is basically the same hot hatch with a little more options.
The new model has a price tag to die for, and the best thing about it is that for 1000 pounds more you get 2000 pounds worth of extras, at least that's what Renault is saying in the press statement. The Clio 197 is known as one of the best hot hatches on the market as it's extremely fun to drive on a circuit.
The Lux version comes fitted with leather upholstery, climate control, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, cornering lights, a 60W radio MP3 CD player, carpet mats, and satin chrome finish to the air vents.
Outside, the Lux has brushed aluminum “Radier” alloy wheels and a satin chrome finish to the door mirrors and the air extraction grilles in the front wings.
Optional equipment includes folding door mirrors, panoramic sunroof, xenon headlights, “Speedline” wheels in either black or white, but none of these matter, because for an extra 400 pounds you can have the Cup chassis (hardcore fans know what we're talking about).
