If you're not a fan of hot hatches, than you probably won't understand why people are gathered on the side of a mountain road to witness a bulbous looking yellow Renault.
But this is the brand new Clio RS and we bet there's at least one person out there who wants to sleep next to it. It's that cool.

We've been following this car since the early development stages and today we bring you a video of the launch control system in action. Yes, you have standard launch control on the Clio now, and that's because it comes with a double-clutch gearbox.

While you hold both pedals down at once, the turbo engine makes a really cool sound, like a rally car waiting to go. The Clio RS then spins its front tires like a dog slipping on a kitchen floor and is off like a rocket.

Some people have said electronics and automatic gearboxes anesthetize the feeling you get in a sportcar. But for us, playing rally driver on the road is simply priceless.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
