Renault Captur Receives 5-Star Euro NCAP Rating

Every time you mention Renault and Euro NCAP, the mind naturally gravitates towards the previous generation Megane hatch, one of the safest cars you could buy. Renault has stuck at it and continues to make some of the safest cars in Europe, and a decade on the 15th model of the Diamond received a 5-star safety rating.

We're talking about the new Captur subcompact crossover, which is built on the same platform as the Clio 4. Despite Euro NCAP increasing the severity of its tests, it still managed to secure a 80.5 percent.

The Captur scored 88% for adult occupant protection, 79% for child occupant protection and 81% for safety assist. It comes standard with ESC, a speed limiter and audible reminders for the seat belts.
