Rumors about Renault Reviving the Alpine sports car brand have been floating around the web for years. However, the French automotive producer fueled this fire at the Frankfurt Auto Show, telling journalists that it is seriously considering this move.
It seems that Alpine's revival model could take the place of the Laguna Coupe in the French carmaker's line-up. The vehicle could be launched together with the next generation of the Megane and Laguna, which will share a modular platform. Unfortunately, we don't have too much information about the project right now. Who knows, maybe we'll get some Nissan sports car bits and pieces with French styling or maybe we''ll get the aforementioned development pathway.
