Even though this year's Le Mans 24 Hours race let the curtains down, Porsche's performance will stay preserved in history. The same goes for Renault's Alpine Celebration prototype, one that should spawn a rival for Porche's sportscars.
The Alpine brand could use a ressurection and Renault's idea of such revival materialized into the Alpine Celebration show car presented last weekend at Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans.

We've seen its blue and orange color scheme and found out a thing or two about the Alpine legacy and 60-year-old history, but we want to see the production model in the metal. But we're not the only ones having such desires.

Both X-Tomi Design and RM Car Design came up with what they think will be the production version of the Alpine Celebration, at least in terms of exterior appearance. There are a lot of similarities between the two artistic impressions, but they are separated by a set of details like the headlights design and the front bumper's styling.

The retro influences are there, so are the curvy lines and that particular appeal you only see in Franch cars. Also, the stickers were removed, and the bi-color layout was dropped, while a new set of alloy wheels were added but still, the car is smoking hot, at least judging by its looks.

We shouldn't judge a book by its cover, of course, but since Renault was tight-lipped regarding what might live under the car's hood, we're trying to find joy in the car's bodywork.

That's all we'll tell you about the renderings; it's up to you to decide which one is better suited for going into production.
