In Russia, things tend to be done differently than in other parts of the world. In this video some workers attempt to ‘minecraft’ away a crosswalk on a large boulevard, somewhere in Russia.
Is may be just us, but we feel that their work is absolutely redundant as it’s very hard to crack concrete or asphalt with small axes. It’s still fun to watch, over and over again, but if you’ve had a hard day and really want to laugh, then we recommend it.
If this is how they remove a crosswalk, we wonder how they put it there in the first place? Picture 30 people painting the road with small brushes, taking hours and hours to complete.
This kind of job should be left to be done using at least some sort of rudimentary technology as it’s simply stupid (yet extremely funny) to do it manually and with axes. Also the sound of the axes hitting the tarmac could be recorded and then used in some strategy game as a 'mining' sound as it sounds exactly like what you would expect that to sound like.
