Toyota’s European arm today announced the start of operations at its freshly relocated Toyota Parts Centre España (TPCES), situated in Illescas, about 40 kilometers south of the Spanish capital Madrid.
The facility, which houses around 290,000 different parts, catering to the needs of 166 Toyota and Lexus dealers in Spain now comes with a service coverage that has been increased by 75 percent, including the newly added Catalonia region.

TPCES is included in the 14 Toyota Parts Logistics Centers in Europe that supply parts for all the 12.8 million Toyota and Lexus cars currently running on European roads.

The relocation of the facility debuted in March last year, when Toyota Motor Europe President and CEO Didier Leroy laid the firtst foundation stone of the most important warehouse building, with the site representing a total investment of EUR26.7 million ($33.51 million) for Toyota in Europe.
