Reiter Murcielago Strada Concept Revealed

Reiter Engineers has just unveiled its latest creation, the so-called Murcielago Strada concept, a tweaked Murcielago that boasts large quantities of carbon-fiber and feature enhancements.

To get straight to the point, all those parts made of carbon fiber not only keeps the car on the street-legal side, but also keeps the weight at a lower level for enhanced performances. The front splitter, the rear diffuser and the rear wing are each made of carbon fiber.

Race suspension and brake-system plus light-alloy wheels are also part of the package.

"The race proven suspension, for which a special set-up was developed during the course of a lengthy and extensive test program by our professional race drivers and engineers, improves the handling. This, combined with the racing brake-system and Reiter light-alloy wheel rims, ensures that the entire package provides the greatest driving pleasure,"
Reiter explained in a press release.

The interiors have been customized with Alcantara leather and Reiter sports seats. There will be several options available, including a roll-cage with Alcantara soft-sleeve covering and a lightweight carbon-covered fire extinguisher system.

One of the worth-mentioning features is also the exhaust system which is said to generate an unique sound that easily helps the Strada concept stand out from the other cars on the streets. "The undoubted spectacular appearance of the Reiter Murciélago Strada is more than emphasized by the sound of our exhaust system," Reiter wrote.

Because we're dealing with a concept, it's too early to talk about pricing but more details should arrive in the upcoming months.
