Reiter Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT3 Detailed

Reiter Engineering debuted their Lamborghini LP560 GT3 during a public test held over the weekend and, not without any satisfaction, they emphasized it's "more efficient than its victorious predecessor, has more power, improved suspension geometry, refined and optimized aerodynamics."

Based on the production model Lamborghini LP560-4, Reiter's LP560 GT3 has been overhauled and boasts a new engine, namely a 5.2l V10 mated to a Holinger race gearbox, developing 570 PS and 540 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The vehicle weighs 1,190 kg thanks to its light-weight design aluminium spaceframe-structure, which allows the chassis to be considerably lighter and extremely rigid torsionally. The front and rear bodywork and the sills are also manufactured from lightweight carbon fiber. The aerodynamics
of the car (carbon rear wing, front splitter and completely closed aluminum-honeycomb underfloor) have been improved by some 8 percent, compared to the previous version.

The suspension of the new GT3 is based on the one used by Reiter's Murcielago R-GT: CNC machined uprights, fabricated race wishbones, an 24-hour race braking system and the multi-adjustable race suspension specially developed for the GT3.

What Reiter has to offer and others usually don't is the so called Reiter Convertible Concept. Thanks to it, you can take your 265,000 euro GT3 Lamborghini described above and turn it into a full-spec GT2 race car, for some 30,000 euro. Reiter has already received orders for their LP560 and the car can already be tested by future GT3 racers.
