She already won a Oscar award, but rumors are Reese Whiterspoon could get another one of those golden statuettes for her latest Wild movie. Maybe this was the reason she overstayed her parking time the other day while attending yet another one of her Pilates classes in Brentwood, California. After all, smiling your way out of getting a fine does not work every time, does it?
It was this Monday she received a Best Actress nomination for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and that’s after she already collected two other best actress nominations for the Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Having that much on her mind, it’s no wonder the Sweet Home Alabama actress spent a bit too much at the gym, forgetting that the parking meter was ticking.
Or maybe going through similar adventures author Cheryl Strayed went through when she trekked the Pacific Crest Trail in her newest film left her distracted and made her forget about rules. The little incident happened about a month after she managed to smile her way out of a similar ticket.
The Legally Blond actress was in the same area, on the same day of the week, driving the same Land Rover LR4 Discovery. Whiterspoon was about to take a ticket after her parking meter sit expired for 40 minutes, but the officer recognized her and... decided a good deed won’t harm anybody.
Unfortunately it would seem the Reese didn’t make much of her previous experience since here she is doing the same thing all over again. Well, celebrities are celebrities and a parking ticket is not really a big deal for them, is it?
