Red LaFerrari Spotted in Monaco

On paper and probably on the track as well, the McLaren and Porsche probably have the LaFerrari's name and number. But what really matters with supercars like this is what the customers say and what reactions on the street are going to be like. That's where the Italians claw back a lot of lost ground.

A successor for the Enzo has been a long time in the making, but now it's finally here and it's something to behold. Underneath the gorgeous red exterior is a body carefully crafted from carbon fiber after studying the effects of mother nature during high speed driving. The tests were conducted in Ferrari's F1 wind tunnel, but they still let the designers have the final say when it comes to what it looks like.

Looking at this car, you get the feeling most of the body is there simply to look beautiful, like a sculpture you want to put in your living room. It's the same with the engine, which sounds like it's from an older F1 car.

There's also exclusivity to consider. We will agree that this LaFerrari is probably not going to be the only one in Monaco, which is like a playground for the rich and famous. But it has shock factor and dominates the landscape like a monarch of the land.
