Red Ferrari Monza SP1 Shows Classic Spec, Black Heritage Stripe Too

Here's one for those who love to drive alone, ladies and gentlemen, namely a Ferrari Monza SP1 spec. Sure, with the Prancing Horse only set to bring 499 units of the Monza to the world, any configuration is worthy of attention and yet the one we have here is special.

To be more precise, most Monza specs we've discussed so far featured rather restrained shades, while using more striking colors for the stripe(s). Well, the one staring at us right now does things the other way around.

Heck, the combination between the classic speedster shape of this machine and the shade of red covering the Fezza is downright intoxicating.

Only that black heritage stripe interrupts the look-at-me-red Italian real estate, reminding us of the automotive producer's golden era.

Now, in case you're wondering where this Fezza spends its days, it looks like the Prancing Horse recently landed in Argentina.

Browsing through the multiple shots included in the Instagram post below, which portrays the Monza SP2, we also get a glimpse of the cabin. Alas, the interior finish is not the strong point of the V12 machine, so we won't linger on such matters.

Speaking of the Monza, keep in mind that multiple important figures have recently been spotted enjoying the charms of the model.

For instance, here's Gordon Ramsay's spec, with the celebrity chef getting behind the wheel of the naturally aspirated toy in London. Ramsay's love of Ferraris is almost as famous as his dishes, so seeing him grabbing such a machine didn't exactly come as a surprise.

Then there was Nico Rosbers's recent Monza SP1 drive - the retired Formula One champion, who used to grab podiums for Mercedes, was spotted filming what apepars to be an ad in Ferrari's home town, Maranello. And here's to hoping we get to check out the resulting clip as soon as possible.
