Dodge’s Charger may be the four-door sibling to the successful Challenger coupe in modern times, but a long time ago, it was a cool muscle car superhero. Back in the glorious B-body days, it was something to be feared, loved, and derived into cool stuff like the R/T, General Lee, or the mighty Daytona. Now, with a little help from a digital artist’s imagination, one can have all of that once more... if only for a few seconds.
Pixel master Rostislav Prokop (a.k.a. rostislav_prokop on social media) is no stranger to envisioning both old and new models digitally. We could highlight from his recent work the one time he exposed a virtual Pontiac LeMans revival to the bagged and side-exhaust current, or that cool moment when he realized the Nissan 400Z already makes a great widebody case for itself even before its official introduction.

But his most recent works are a bit next level. That’s because he is ready to cook up not just CGI models but true 3D wonders that benefit from the addition of a real-world environment and a neat soundtrack to make us (almost) believe they’re real.

Unfortunately, neither the mid-engined 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 nor the “Red Evil” Dodge Charger R/T we see embedded below are ever going to smoke their wide tires on the surface of this planet. But when everything is faked almost to perfection, you can almost teleport yourself next to these cars.

In this case, it really helps that we’re not just dealing with the proper crimson attire, the extended fender flares, the aerodynamic enhancements, or the perspective of hugging one of the bucket seats of the fully caged interior. Instead, the video also features a very menacing, rumbling soundtrack—hypothetically coming from underneath the scooped hood courtesy of something very SRT and Hellcat... or Demon.
