Red Bull Close Deals with Casio & Nautilus for 2009

Brawn Grand Prix is not the only team closing important financial deals only days before the official start of the 2009 season. Red Bull Racing have just announced the signing of two financial partners for the upcoming season, although no further details – duration of the contract or revenues – were made official.

First of all, the Milton Keynes based team has arranged for a partnership with Casio Computer Co. Ltd. in exchange of becoming brand ambassadors of company's Edifice line of analogue watches. While further details of the contract were not disclosed, it is expected that some items of the team's equipment for 2009 – including the drivers' race suits – will feature the Casio logo.

“We are pleased to welcome Casio and Edifice watches to Red Bull Racing. As the new season gets underway, let’s hope we can see some impressive lap times on our new stopwatches!” announced team boss Christian Horner.

In addition to the Casio deal, RBR have also secured a new partner for their fitness and gym operations, namely Nautilus. The company will go on to equip an entire gym to be used by all RBR employees at team's headquarters in Milton Keynes, UK.

“Our partnership with Nautilus is unique in that it really has the potential to benefit everyone who works at our facility. Not only that, but having programmes designed specifically for the guys on the race team to ensure they are as fit as possible can have a positive effect on the way we operate at the track, specifically during pit stops,” added Horner.
