Reckless Driving Causes Scary Crash on Russian Highway

Reckless driving embodies a lot of driving mistakes into one single and easy to understand concept. Those who speed, fail to give way, cut you off, give you the finger even though they are to blame and so on, are reckless drivers. This particular example, from Russia, perfectly explains the concept.
Not only is the driver of the white Volkswagen Polo sedan changing lanes erratically, and judging by the amount of steam coming out of the exhaust, he is also flooring the throttle, but he cuts off the car with the dash-mounted camera, as well.

The driver then fails to see a slower car up ahead, and yanks the wheel right to avoid impact. However, the Polo sedan loses control, spins, and hits a snow bank on the outer edge of the road, then a pole, then ricochets back onto the middle lanes.

This is what reckless driving does, and why it should always be avoided. It should not be confused with speedy or quick driving, because that can be done in relative safety, if the road permits it and the driver is fully aware and capable of handling a car.
