It's no secret that the tuning world is in love with the Mk V Toyota Supra. Following the uber-solid reputation its predecessor built via the modding realm (2JZ, anybody?), Toyota introduced the 2020 Supra with customization in mind and this showed, as, for instance, last year's SEMA show was assaulted by around 60 supped-up examples of the sportscar. Nevertheless, certain tweaking tales have a twisted beginning, as is the case with the Supra sitting before us.
This Toyota was involved in an accident that caused serious damage to the vehicle (more on this below) and it was recently acquired by the two brothers behind the goonzquad YouTube channel.

As we discussed earlier this week, when showcasing their nearly completed S550 Ford Mustang build, these bros love to give crashed vehicles a second chance. They've been doing it on their own for a few years now and, given the popularity of the Supra, it's no surprise this has landed in their hands.

Now, Billy, the older brother, the one you'll see sitting inside the vehicle in the intro, together with Simon, have completed multiple such projects, with the list including a Subaru WRX, a Nissan 370Z, a Honda S2000, a Ford F-150, a Jeep Wrangler, a Ferrari 458 Spider, a Lamborghini Huracan, a Dodge Viper T/A, a sixth-gen Camaro ZL1, a C7 Corvette Z06 and others.

As such, they might just be aware of why this Toyota has no power following its accident (this should be related to the post-crash safety feature that is the pyro fuse).

Nevertheless, the damage, which is detailed at the 12:00 point of the clip below, seems to include the front end (it's heavier on the right side), while the airbags have also been deployed.

Since fix-modding the car would only mean sticking to family tradition, the brothers have already discussed about adding various carbon pieces to the Supra. Oh, and those faux vents they mention? Toyota says they were put there for tuners to replace with functional units once they add tech mods that require this.
