Real Russian Van Explosion Is Hollywood-Worthy

In the 90’s, every Hollywood movie had to have massive explosions to become a true blockbuster. Not even romances or kid’s films were safe from this.
After that, people just seemed to have... grown up, and fewer explosions are needed. The Mithbusters even proved that a gas tank won’t explode if you shoot bullets into it.

Once in a while, you see a car on fire on the road and you think to yourself “oh, they never actually explode.” But this van in Russia (looks like a Ford Transit) did just that. Just as firefighters arrive, the vehicle is engulfed in a huge fireball that blows parts of the body clean into the air.

The explosion is worthy of any Michael Bay movie. In fact, we’d like to see Transformers 4 shot in Russia with Volgas and Ladas, not to mention vodka and Russian swearing.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
