Ordering the new Bugatti 1 photo

In a rather interesting development, Manny Khoshbin, a real estate tycoon from California, claims that he was already able to order the successor of the Bugatti Veyron. That’s if we’re to believe his Instagram post as that’s the only thing we can go on right now.
The Iranian-born businessman posted a photo that does seem to be legit at first. It portrays him sitting in a room decorated with Bugatti logos, across from two gentlemen that are salesmen from the Molsheim-based company. To be completely frank, everything seems a bit forced but there’s more.

He also claims via the same post that he saw the car and that it has been completely redone both inside and out. This is one thing we can actually believe since the successor of the Veyron is supposed to come out looking like a whole new beast.

Underneath that body, there’s also a new powertrain that we’ve been speculating on for quite some time now. Even though officials never came forward with even a slight hint, we’re expecting a hybrid layout, similar to the one used on the McLaren P1, LaFerrari or 918 Spyder. Speaking of which, Manny also has a P1 amongst other luxurious cars.

Power should be close to 1,500 HP thanks to a revised version of the 8.4-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers and two electric motors. This will be right up the alley of the new Koenigsegg Regera that has the same maximum amount of power going to the wheels but in a different configuration.

All-wheel drive will be included in the mix and there are claims that 500 units will be built, a small increase over the 450 original Veyrons planned that took 10 years to be sold.

That’s not bad considering that the price tag was originally $1.5 million. Well, the Chiron is rumored to cost $2.5 million and Khoshbin seems to have placed a down payment already.
