The first BMW Z4 ever made wore the E85 codename and was launched back in 2002 only to be replaced in 2008 by the current model, dubbed internally E89. Even though the two have different styling cues, they share the same base design.
That's why we can't say no to an older model, especially if it's wearing an uncommon color such as Matte Red or Frozen Red in BMW lingo. Of course, the two cannot be compared as the BMW stuff is painted on and here we have a wrap job.
Even so, thanks to the guys from Re Style It Canada, the Z4 ends up looking really good. The care to details is paramount as usual, and the end result looks like the real thing and by the real thing, we mean paint.
