RCZ Racing Cup Car Goes Up Goodwood

In case you didn’t know what this is, the French carmaker Peugeot organized a one-make racing series this year with the teams fielding their own race-prepped versions of the Peugeot RCZ coupe.
To get the RCZ to go round Goodwood and in fact any other circuit faster, Peugeot has stripped the interior of all creature comforts and put in a set of racing seats and a roll cage.

As for what’s under the bonnet, it’s still the turbocharged 1.6 THP but tuned from 200 horsepower to 250 hp and linked to a SADEV six-speed paddle shift sequential transmission.

If you can afford it, you too can own one for the sum of €54,900. If not, you can always watch the bonkers lap the car did around Goodwood and tell us what you think about the double-bubble racing car.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
