Rare Impala Brown BMW E38 7 Series Up for Auction in North Carolina

Launched in 1994, the BMW E38 7 Series was, as always, at the forefront of technological breakthroughs in the automotive industry. The car was fitted with things never before seen in its segment and as the end of its life cycle approached, even more kit was added to the mix.

The guys from RKMCCA are now in the midst of a weekend marathon that starts today and ends on November 3rd. Amongst the cars up for auction you'll find a rare Impala Brown BMW E38 740Li from 2001.

The car is in perfect shape, having only 29,795 miles on the odometer. Since it's a 2001 model, being built in the last year of production, this baby has it all on-board. You'll find adjustable leather-wrapped bucket seats designed to eliminate driving fatigue by subtly exercising occupants’ back muscles, rich wood grain trims on the dash, 14-speaker audio system with DSP, power sunroof, power sunshade, cruise control and many, many others.

Under the bonnet, the M62B46 4.4-liter V8 engine is quietly making 342 HP and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque, a rare unit as most 740iL models were fitted with the older, M62TuB44 engine that made only 282 HP.

You can enter the bidding on the company's website in case you are interested and, by tomorrow, might be the owner of this classy beauty.
