The limited-edition S4 Fogarty is a genuine treasure for collectors and hardcore Ducatistas alike.
Out of the 300 Fogarty variants added to the Monster S4 lineup for the 2002 model-year, a mere 75 made their way to the United States. Pictured above is the 126th unit to leave Ducati’s factory, and it currently reads just over 1,200 miles (1,900 km) on the clock.

Moreover, the bike comes with a freshly-installed AGM battery from Motobatt, as well as an aftermarket Termignoni exhaust ending in dual carbon fiber mufflers. To complement the new pipework, an ECU flash and some airbox tweaks have also been performed under previous ownership. Otherwise, this Italian rarity retains its stock configuration.

The Foggy Ducati is brought to life by a liquid-cooled 916cc desmodromic L-twin, featuring 11:1 compression, eight valves motioned through dual cams, and Marelli EFI technology with a 50 mm (two-inch) throttle body. When the tachometer’s needle hovers right below the 10k-rpm mark, the engine is capable of spawning up to 110 crank-measured stallions.

At a lower point on the rev range, Bologna’s limited-edition pearl gets pushed forward by a healthy torque output amounting to 68 pound-feet (92 Nm). This grunt is handed over to the rear chain-driven wheel via a six-speed transmission and a dry clutch, enabling the Monster to dash from zero to 60 mph (96 kph) in 3.4 seconds.

Its top speed is rated at 147 mph (237 kph), and the entire structure tips the scales at 414 pounds (189 kg) without any fluids. The Duc’s suspension comprises 43 mm (1.7-inch) upside-down Showa forks and an adjustable Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage.

Stopping power originates from dual 320 mm (12.6-inch) semi-floating discs and four-piston calipers at the front, along with a single 245 mm (9.6-inch) rotor and a two-piston caliper at the rear. This Monster S4 Fogarty is going under the hammer on Iconic Motorbike Auctions, with six days separating us from the bidding deadline as of now! If that gets you excited, be sure to go ahead and register your best offer before September 16.
