One of the moments rappers always gladly wait for is when one of those magazines ask them to perform. In a cover story, that is. Why? Well, because that means you need to “clean up” for the photographers to bring the best of your rides. And it’s YG’s turn to show off for Dub Magazine, so he recently got his Porsche Panamera done at the shop.
Well, there you go. You live, you learn. Things are moving forward people, no matter what, so you can either go along or be left behind. It’s up to you. First, we saw product placement in music videos (not that long time ago though), than we had celebrities becoming brand ambassadors. Soon enough, we found ourselves surrounded by all these famous people, whether they were pop icons, popular rappers, actors or even movie directors. It is what it is, you can’t read just about a car anymore. Everything goes together.
This is why whenever these artists get the call, the first thing they do is to take their luxury rides to the custom shops. In our particular case, it seems the car got some Forgiato wheels and some tinted windows, as well. We’re not quite sure if the Porsche is wearing any wrap or it’s the original color, but YG’s ride definitely looks good for a new shooting. Which it did.
Only problem is, the rapper thought it’s cooler to sit on the car instead of taking it for a spin. But then again, who are we to judge, right?
However, we tend to dig NBA star Nate Robinson’s cars a bit more. He practically did the same thing a couple a months ago, only he got new wraps for both his 2013 Cadillac CTS and 2013 Range Rover Sport.
