If you ever feel jealous when you’re watching a music video and you assume that everything that person is wearing, driving or riding is their own, don’t.
Even with established artists, most of the gear they flash in music video or promo appearances are rentals or sponcons. This is even more applicable to up and coming stars, like this poor rapper from Dallas, Texas, who couldn’t afford a flashy car on his own, so he had to use a random one he spotted in a parking lot.

The latest viral video was shot in Texas late last week and was posted to social media (courtesy of Viral Hog) with a very brief caption that reads, “I spotted a local rapper flexing too hard, using my car in his music video.” Apparently, the guy shooting the video from a high window is the rightful owner of the car, while the rapper is simply posing in front of it, using it as a gorgeous prop.

In all fairness, the Dodge Challenger is a standout, especially in this color, so we can’t really fault the young rapper for wanting to use it. To make the lie more convincing, he even went out and decked himself in matching clothes, tee and kicks, and rocked the usual tough-guy attitude while spitting rhymes in front of it.

All this was much to the delight of the Challenger owner and his friends, who, instead of going out and cause trouble with the rapper and his barely-there crew, chose to sit this one out and properly enjoy themselves.

That said, don’t ever be the guy or gal who double parks like this Challenger owner did. Whatever points he gets for not picking a fight with the rapper who chose to use his car for a music video without asking for permission, he loses for occupying 2 parking spots like a douche.
