The unveiling of a brand new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport is just around the corner, but there’s still plenty of life left in the current supercharged badboy. While the raised rash and the Chelsea grille somewhat diminish the class of this vehicle, not everybody cares about that.
This latest project, targeting a 2011 Range Rover Sport SR, comes from the guys at Platinum Motorsport, who took it under their care and protection after a friend of Lupe Fiasco dropped it by when it finished the 2012 Gumball 3000 rally.
Platinum doesn’t do thinks in halfs, so to give the Sport its new matte gray look, they stripped out everything - doors, interior, wings and all the glass. After that, it was sanded down and buffed to gibe it a key.
Complimenting Projekt Grey XIII’s paintjob was a set of gloss black concave wheels from Vossen that accentuate red brake calipers with black Range Rover logos.
